yad2's Payment Operation Analyst is responsible for ensuring seamless and reliable payment transactions for our users and clients. We are looking for an analyst to manage day-to-day payment processes and support various financial operations. The role involves collaborating across departments, assisting with operational tasks, and addressing challenges in a fast-paced environment. This position demands intellectual curiosity and building proficiency in all aspects of payment operations, including finance, legal, privacy, data protection, and security requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist with processing and tracking payments, ensuring timely and accurate completion

  • Administer the accounts payable process by supervising and uploading payment transactions, tracking transactions, and compiling financial data essential for the business

  • Generate and cross-reference reports from various systems

  • Conduct business analysis to support business decisions around new financial services

  • Provide support to the finance and service departments in resolving payment dispute

  • Assist in investigating payment-related issues, such as discrepancies or suspected fraud

  • Assist with vendor relationships, resolving operational issues as they arise

  • Collaborate with different teams within the organization

  • Be part of a growing operation, with opportunities for professional development

  • Help establish procedures and work processes in the payments team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field

  • Experience working in a professional environment; 1-2 years in a similar role within payments companies - An advantage

  • Experience in an e-commerce company- An advantage

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive decision-making

  • Basic understanding of payment processes and financial system

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is critical

  • High proficiency in English
